Ready to get back to living? Ready to stay at a hostel again?
Here are some tips for you to get back to traveling as safely as possible.
1. Book Your Reservation Online
This will allow you to have less physical contact upon arrival and gives the staff more preparation time to make sure your accommodation is clean and ready for you to enjoy.
2. Wear a Mask
It is an obvious piece of advice, when in close contact upon entering the hostel, it is a good idea to wear a mask or bandana to make both parties comfortable when interacting.
3. Have Clean Hands
Whether you carry around your own hand sanitizer or if you wash your hands a lot, being conscious about keeping your hands clean is paramount for decreasing the spread of germs and diseases.
4. Take an Immune Boosting Supplement
Travel is always hard on the body, it is important to give it extra nutrients to keep your immune system strong and able to take the hits when you are on the go. High amounts of Vitamin C and D are helpful, along with the herbs Elderberry, Licorice, and Astragulus. Brew yourself some tea or have some orange juice to aid your system in fighting off sickness.
5. Drink Water
This piece of advice should be on every list as a way to stay healthy. Fighting a pandemic is no exception, so keep hydrated to keep your body happy and healthy always.
The main thing to remember, if we want to reconnect with one another in hostels, is to be respectful of the safety of others and to spread love instead of viruses. And that can be done if we all take care of ourselves. By being conscious about your own health and hygiene, you will have a positive effect on those around you.
We can’t wait to see you all again within these new travel structures. Take care of yourself and travel safely!
